About us

Greg Peterson, the owner of Shire House Washing, is a painter by trade but threw away his brushes and began a house washing service in 1999 and has been washing homes and commercial premises ever since.

Your home is your castle,
see how much better we can make yours look.

Shire House Washing is fully insured to carry out commercial and domestic work and is exempt from all water restrictions.

Shire House Washing offers experience and professional service.

We are a small, family-run business that prides itself on its customer service, professional attitude, care and diligence and most importantly, excellent results on every job.

We have the experience and equipment to undertake the washing of the smallest cottage to large commercial work.

We operate using the most up-to-date equipment and chemicals (where needed) which allows us to clean the most stubborn surface or gentle enough to clean the most delicate surfaces, such as lead-light windows and lime-washed houses.

Our services are entrusted to many real estate agents throughout our operating area.

The owners have featured in Selling Houses Australia (a Foxtel programme) and a Sydney Morning Herald editorial.

Caution!

Be careful who you choose to wash your house!

With the growth of the internet and house washing becoming more popular, there have been many businesses pop up claiming to be experienced in washing houses, cleaning sandstone, pressure cleaning driveways etc.

A quick search on the internet displays many businesses offering house washing and pressure cleaning services, some of these so called experienced businesses are displaying photographs that are “stolen” off the internet, often from other house washing sites based in the USA.

Shire House Washing has been washing houses for over 12 years using specialised equipment, not a cheap pressure cleaner brought from a hardware store, using inferior equipment can lead to damage as the pressure can not be adjusted, nor the flow rate.

Inferior equipment and knowledge will also leave you with a sub standard job that will cost you more in the long run.

Do a bit of research and ask questions before deciding who you use to wash your most valuable asset.

ALL of the photographs displayed on www.shirehousewashing.com.au and in our gallery are our own material and are real examples of our own work.

For extra peace of mind, Shire House Washing is fully insured and a Trades Monitor Accredited contractor.
